EN – To photograph shadows is to seek to capture the moment of a moment, the concentrate of a moment. We call absolute the material that is obtained in the perfume extraction process and I like to imagine that this is the meaning of my quest. To capture the absolute of a moment to emphasize the impermanence of the world.

 

FR – Photographier des ombres, c’est chercher à figer l’instant d’un instant, le concentré d’un instant. On parle d’absolue pour qualifier la matière obtenue dans le procédé d’extraction du parfum et il me plaît d’imaginer que c’est le sens de ma quête. Capturer l’absolue d’un instant pour souligner l’impermanence du monde.
