Voyages d'une éphémère (2010 – 2020)
EN – Since a long time, I have been experimenting with black ink work around “the breath connecting the visible world to an invisible world” (François Cheng). I like the simplicity of the implementation: ink, paper, and the brush that unites them. When the inks touches the paper, there is no possible repentance. It’s irreversible.
I recently realized that my photographic quest was of the same level : managing to let things go to celebrate the present moment. Without any rependance. Every moment that opens up to my lens contains a secret, a part of chance.
Ink works are introduced into the progression of the images of the series to intensify my vision of this floating, changing and ephemeral world.
FR – Depuis longtemps, j’expérimente un travail à l’encre de Chine autour du souffle reliant le monde visible à un monde invisible (François Cheng). J’aime la simplicité de la mise en œuvre : de l’encre, du papier et le pinceau qui les unit. Quand l’encre atteint le papier, il n’y a pas de repentir possible. C’est irréversible.
J’ai récemment compris que ma quête photographique était du même ordre: parvenir à un lâcher prise pour célébrer l’instant. Sans repentir. Chaque moment qui s’offre à mon objectif contient un secret, une part du hasard.
Des encres s’invitent dans la progression des images de la série pour intensifier ma vision de ce monde flottant, changeant et éphémère.
